DIY Marbled Easter Eggs

Easter is just around the corner, which means it's time to do one of my favorite Easter activities- decorating Easter eggs! This year, I took a non-traditional approach to decorating eggs. Still sticking with Easter pastel colors, these marble patterned eggs are a fun update to the classic dyed Easter eggs. They are super easy to make and will have all of your Easter dinner guests in awe, guessing how you made them! Simply follow these steps....

Supplies:
- Hard-boiled eggs
- Nail Polish (I used pink, blue, teal and purple)
- Styrofoam bowls- one for each color
- Stirring Sticks- one for each color (I used chopsticks)
- Rubber gloves
Step 1. After boiling the eggs, fill a bowl with room temperature water. Take a bottle of nail polish and slowly poor a few drops of polish into the boil.

Step 2. Using a chopstick, stir the nail polish around to create a marbled design.
Step 3. Wearing the rubber gloves, carefully drop an egg into the bowl and turn it over a few times.
Step 4. Remove the egg from the bowl and place it on a stand to dry. I made a stand out of a sheet of foam and straight pins (see below).
Repeat these steps, using a different bowl, and a different stirring stick for each color! Check out the pictures below to see the finished product and then go try it for yourself!
~ Happy Easter! ~
