Kate Spade & Beyond Yoga

Today Kate Spade and yoga apparel company, Beyond Yoga, launched their new collaboration of activewear at the Kate Spade store on Columbus Avenue! The 21-piece collection incorporates iconic Kate Spade details such as black and white stripes and of course, a well placed bow, into sporty pieces perfect for transitioning from an early morning yoga class to looking chic while doing everyday activities. All the pieces in the collection can be mixed and matched with each other and range from $84 to $179. My favorite pieces from the collection include the striped 'Neck Bow Jacket' and the 'Back Bow Legging'.
The launch of the collection was celebrated at the Columbus Avenue store with refreshments such as fruit parfaits and Prosecco, as well as a complimentary yoga mat with a purchase from the new collection. Take a look at the pictures below to get a glimpse of the new collection! It certainly has me more motivated to stay active this year!!

Storm Jonas in NYC

It's was a very snowy weekend here in NYC!! Saturday was spent cozied up inside while storm Jonas was in full effect. We ventured out to Times Sqaure later at night when the snow and wind had calmed down and we were able to walk right down the middle of the streets because no cars were allowed on the roads!
There was reported to be 26.8 inches of snowfall in Central Park so of course, I had to take a trip up to the park Sunday morning! It was the most beautiful day for a snowy walk in the park. Blue skies, and mid-30 degree weather made for perfect photo opportunites . The park was full of people sledding, building snowmen, having snowball fights, and walking around enjoying the fresh powder. I brought my camera along to capture some of the snowy scenery! Check out a few of the pictures below and if you are in NYC, make sure you take a trip up to the park for yourself ASAP!

Blanket Cape in Burrrr-lington

A blanket cape is an effortless piece that is perfect for staying warm on a cold day- especially during a Vermont winter. Below, I wore a color-blocked blanket cape over a striped turtleneck with a pair of skinny jeans and ankle booties, while walking down by the Burlington Waterfront. This Echo Design cape is so soft and cozy, its just like having the comfort of staying at home wrapped up in a blanket! It can be worn so many different ways and for so many different occasions. You can wear it over a simple long sleeve shirt, similar to how I did below, with riding boots or flats for a more casual look, or belt it around your waist, to accentuate your shape, and add a pair of heeled booties for a dressier look! Check out the pictures below to see how I styled my blanket cape and head over to Echo Design's website to try one for yourself!

There's Snow Place Like Vermont

It's been a very snowy past couple of days here in Vermont!! We are finally getting the classic Vermont winter we've been waiting for. What better way to enjoy the snow than to hit the ski slopes?! Okay, okay, so I didn't actuallyyyyy go skiing. But Smuggler's Notch in Jeffersonville, Vermont provides some pretty amazing scenery for snowy landscapes. My friend Lauren and I had so much fun walking around the winter wonderland and of course, we brought our cameras with us to capture the perfect day. There is truly no better place to enjoy winter than in the mountains of Vermont. You can check out a few pictures from our adventure below!
