Sunday's Best

Last Sunday, my friend Murphy invited myself, and a few of our other good friends from FIT, to attend Church with her, to see her speak at mass. She gave a beautiful speech and we were all so proud to be there to support her and her commitment to her Church. It was such a gorgeous, spring day to spend with friends, so we couldn't resist a walk to Central Park after the mass!
For this beautiful Sunday, I wore a navy and white striped midi-skirt with a lace top. One of my favorite things about dressing for spring is mixing patterns! Because the patterns are so different, I like to keep the color palette simple. I added a pop of color with a bright statement necklace, and finished off the look with white heeled sandals and my favorite pink purse. Take a look below at some of the pictures we took while in the park and for my outfit details!

Foto Fun in Central Park

This past weekend was beautiful in New York City! After a short cold spell, it finally warmed up again and I couldn't resist taking a trip to Central Park- it was the perfect day to break out my camera! When walking around the city, I like being able to wear my camera as a cross-body. It is more comfortable than carrying it around my neck and more secure than simply draping it down from one shoulder. This camera strap from  Fotostrap is the perfect length to wear cross-body and it is super cute!! The straps come in many different colors (of course, mine is pink!) and you can customize the leather shoulder pad with anything from your monogram, to a personalized message, or even your company logo. They are very durable, provide functionality, and best of all, they're American made!
For this warm day of exploring, I wore a light weight, pinstripe dress with a pair of Jack Rogers, and carried along my go-to, pink purse- which just so happens to match my Fotostrap! This outfit is so comfortable and effortless. Check out the pictures below to see my Fotostrap, as well as my outfit details, and be sure to check out the Fotostrap website for yourself!

Overall, I'm Loving My Overalls

I am obsessed with my new overalls!! At first, I was hesitant to buy them because I wasn't sure what I would wear them with, but I have found that they are so versatile! I have worn them with everything from a turtleneck with red lipstick and ankle booties, to a t-shirt with a baseball cap and sandals! Most recently, I wore them over this pink and white boatneck top with a pair of Jack Rogers. It was the perfect outfit for going out to run errands on a cool spring day! Check out the pictures below to see how I styled my overalls, and see the links below to see where you can find a pair for yourself!

Pleats in the Peach State

Last week I got the chance to go visit my sister in Atlanta, Georgia over my spring break! The weather was perfect for exploring the city and getting to break out some summer clothes. I am in love with this pleated skirt from Ann Taylor! The colors are great for spring and summer and the pleats allow for a lot of movement on a light breezy day. I paired it with a sleeveless, cropped shell (also from Ann Taylor). The shell is so versatile and can be worn with so many different skirts or untucked with a pair of shorts for a more casual look. I stuck with black for the top, but once summer officially comes around, the skirt can be worn with many colored tops as well (I plan to wear it with a top that matches the light blue stripe!). This outfit can be dressed up with a pair of heels or wedges, but a pair of sandals was perfect for all the walking we did while exploring.
Take a look at the pictures we took at the Atlanta History Center, and see the links below for the outfit details!
