Blanket Cape in Burrrr-lington

A blanket cape is an effortless piece that is perfect for staying warm on a cold day- especially during a Vermont winter. Below, I wore a color-blocked blanket cape over a striped turtleneck with a pair of skinny jeans and ankle booties, while walking down by the Burlington Waterfront. This Echo Design cape is so soft and cozy, its just like having the comfort of staying at home wrapped up in a blanket! It can be worn so many different ways and for so many different occasions. You can wear it over a simple long sleeve shirt, similar to how I did below, with riding boots or flats for a more casual look, or belt it around your waist, to accentuate your shape, and add a pair of heeled booties for a dressier look! Check out the pictures below to see how I styled my blanket cape and head over to Echo Design's website to try one for yourself!

There's Snow Place Like Vermont

It's been a very snowy past couple of days here in Vermont!! We are finally getting the classic Vermont winter we've been waiting for. What better way to enjoy the snow than to hit the ski slopes?! Okay, okay, so I didn't actuallyyyyy go skiing. But Smuggler's Notch in Jeffersonville, Vermont provides some pretty amazing scenery for snowy landscapes. My friend Lauren and I had so much fun walking around the winter wonderland and of course, we brought our cameras with us to capture the perfect day. There is truly no better place to enjoy winter than in the mountains of Vermont. You can check out a few pictures from our adventure below!
